Join members of OBBA at our Saturday Apiary Workshop. Wear close toed shoes, long pants (jeans), long shirt, nitrile gloves if you have them, sun protection and bring water. Bring your bee suit if you have one, but veils and limited gloves will be provided. We require a sting waiver form to be signed. You will join experienced beekeepers in completing hive inspections. No experience necessary. We will meet in the parking lot of the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Orange County before driving to the field with the apiary. NOTE: when driving to the apiary you must be FAR away from the archery area.
